What this policy covers
PWS Markets is a public markets-information and education website. It currently has no user accounts, login profiles, password storage, brokerage connections or payment checkout.
Email updates
If you request Imbalance Finder updates, we collect the email address you enter and send it to Mailgun to manage the mailing list and deliver those updates. The signup does not create an account. We do not send your email address to analytics. You can request removal by contacting contact@patrickws.com. Mailgun also supports mailing-list unsubscribe links.
Hosting and request metadata
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes requests to serve and protect the site. Request metadata can include IP address, browser/device information, requested URL and timestamps. Hosting logs and service-provider retention are governed by their settings and policies. Signup abuse protection temporarily uses hashed email/IP keys and counters in server memory; it does not store calculator inputs.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits and general usage. It processes information such as page URL, referrer, approximate location and browser/device characteristics, using its privacy-oriented visitor measurement rather than an account profile. A successful signup records an update-signup event without the email address. Avoid placing personal information in URLs. See Vercel’s privacy policy at https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
TradingView embeds
Market pages load TradingView scripts and embedded widgets. Your browser connects directly to TradingView and related service endpoints, exposing request information such as IP address and browser metadata to those providers. Embedded services operate under their own privacy policies and may use browser storage or cookies according to their implementation and your browser settings. Calculator inputs, clock and timezone
Calculator inputs remain in browser component state and are not submitted to PWS Markets or our email/analytics services. Session clocks use your device clock and browser timezone locally. We do not collect portfolio or brokerage-account data through the calculators.
Cookies and browser storage
PWS Markets does not currently use an account-login cookie or its own advertising-tracking system. Third-party embeds and hosting services may process information independently. We do not promise that every third-party request is cookie-free. Browser settings can restrict cookies and third-party storage, which may affect embedded widgets.
Service providers and retention
We use Vercel for hosting/analytics, Mailgun for email-list processing and delivery, and TradingView for embeds. Information needed to provide those services is shared with the relevant provider. We do not sell signup email addresses. We retain mailing-list information while it is needed for requested updates; unsubscribe/suppression records may be kept to honor opt-outs. Hosting and provider logs may have separate retention periods. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the site.
Your choices and contact
You can avoid email collection by not signing up, restrict third-party services through browser controls, or request access, correction or deletion of signup information at contact@patrickws.com. We will respond as applicable to the request and law. If this product’s data practices change, we will update this page.
